Supposedly named after the popular Beatles song 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,' the Benoit Paille LSD photograph collection offers a stunning view of the night sky.
Speckled with diamond-like stars, the celestial lights peak out from between the canopies of different types of trees, making it seem as though the tree tops are acting as a frame for the sky. People often photograph nature and forests, but artist Paille manages to give us a new perspective by photographing straight up from below the trees. This extreme angle has the effect of making the viewer feel small and insignificant, as if we are getting the bug's eye view of the trees.
See how the trees interact with the stars in Benoit Paille LSD.
