German designer Benjamin Carr took on the challenge of redesigning the walker. Carr’s objectives, according to his portfolio, were to design something that would help to get rid of the stigma associated with disability. Walkers used to be cumbersome and unattractive, but Benjamin Carr’s is futuristic and comes in a variety of colors.
