Ben Aqua Captures the Development of Identity in Photos

— October 30, 2009 — Unique
When you work as a portrait photographer at a department store, I can imagine you wouldn't be able to use your artistic power to its full potential. Ben Aqua portraits, on the other hand, certainly involve creativity -- his work is awesome.

The question Lifelounge poses after seeing this photography is the same one I’m wondering: Is Ben Aqua taking mundane portraits of incredibly eccentric people, or peculiar portraits of regular folks? I don’t know, but what I do know is that the Ben Aqua portraits remind me of Diane Arbus’ portrait photography. See what I mean above.
