Refinery29's 'Hairousel' is Styled Like a Merry-Go-Round

In order to properly celebrate its 10th anniversary and the kickoff of this year's New York Fashion Week, Refinery29 created a number of interactive beauty exhibits for its 29Rooms experience. Among them is room number 13, which is also known as the 'Hairousel,' which is styled like a merry-go-round with horses that show off technicolor locks of hair.

In the fantastic space, the cut-out horses themselves are stationed on poles made of hair, which serve as inspiration for some of the season's hottest colors and styles of the moment. In the display, visitors will be able to see ombré gradients, braids and relaxed waves, as well as get the chance to brush the hair on the horses and otherwise revisit the way that they may have once played with dolls in their youth.
