As far as beach shelters go, they don't come as beautifully and innovatively designed as the Stargazer's Cabin. Designed by London and Melbourne-based architectural practice George King Architects, the Stargazer's cabin is set to be situated on a beach in Eastbourne, in England. The shelter will be capable of gently glowing like a lantern, while its facade will feature star constellations.
This beach shelter's roof will feature small holes -- sheathed with PVC to keep rain out -- that will allow sunlight to infiltrate the interior in the daytime. At night-time, the shelter will function as a lantern of sorts thanks to the presence of a big light inside.
Ultimately, the Stargazer's Cabin will add further character to Eastbourne's beach and will give beachgoers a whole new reason to hit the beach.
