A beach kiosk might not seem like the first place you'd think to head when you want to obtain a delicious Italian dessert or snack, but the 'Kiosk d’Asporto' is making waves by the beach in Williamstown, Australia for offering authentic eats in a scaled-down environment.
The 'Kiosk d’Asporto' -- which translates to "takeaway" from Italian -- is the brainchild of Claudio Acquaro and Mark Smundin who own 'Pizza d’Asporto,' which is also in Williamstown. The duo wanted to bring the best of Italian fare to beachgoers in a way that was laid-back, relaxed and, above all, delicious.
Everything from the gelato, to the Illy coffees the 'Kiosk d’Asporto' beach kiosk offers is inherently Italian and delights customers with a taste of Italy that's nowhere near Rome.
