Music-Aged Alcohol Boxes

Blackened Whiskey's Batch 100 Shares Music Involved in the Aging Process

Metallica launched Blackened Whiskey in 2018, introducing fans to a proprietary sonic-enhancement process called Black Noise to age beer with music. Now, Batch 100 is being shared with fans in a limited-edition box set that contains a bottle of the blended American whiskey and two 12-inch vinyl picture discs of the custom Metallica playlist that was part of the alcohol aging process. Fans will also enjoy diving into the first edition of the Blackened Zine, which shares details on the Batch 100 playlist and commentary from the band members themselves.

Notably, the new Batch 100 is actually the 20th batch, as the group kicked off Blackened Whiskey with Batch 81 as a nod to the year they got their start.
