President Barack Obama filled out his NCAA March Madness bracket on Tuesday with ESPN’s Andy Katz. Obama’s picks for US college basketball glory come just ten days before the 2009 NATO Summit begins in Germany.
For the record, Obama has picked all four number one seeds to advance to the the Final Four, with the University of North Carolina winning the tournament.
As we all know (or could probably assume), the life as the United States President can get awfully busy. It’s rather nice to see a leader taking part in and enjoying his nation’s beloved pastime.
"We’re going to be watching it, but it will probably be 2 in the morning where we are," Obama said. "I’m not going to be able to watch any game the whole way through, but we’re going to be checking the scores."
