The All-New BAPE Getas and Fans Update Traditional Asian Items

Streetwear giant BAPE turned to its Japanese heritage with the introduction of the BAPE Getas and BAPE fans. Aiming to show support for its native roots, BAPE is modernizing traditional getas, a form of footwear that are a blend of clogs and flip-flops.The BAPE Getas are crafted in the label's signature green ABC CAMO colorway for men, with the getas for women crafted in a pink ABC CAMO.

The BAPE Fans also tap into traditional Japanese heritage, as they are designed embody the classic folded fans. These are created in ABC Camo as well, in the colors blue, green and pink. The brand's APE head accents the two offerings throughout. The BAPE Getas are priced at approximately $264 and the fans for $84.
