Yet again, BAPE and Medicom Toy have joined forces. Previously, the streetwear label and collectible brand released a co-branded Bearbrick, Baby Milo and more. This time, they've adapted two iconic Star Wars robots: R2-D2 and C-3PO.
For both of the limited-edition models, BAPE and Medicom Toy supply the figures with a playful cartoon-like look. This is especially true in the case of C-3PO, as the droid's typical human proportions are changed -- with his head enlarged and his body shrunk.
In order to make A Bathing Ape's contribution especially clear, the two galactic figures hide Baby Milo inside. The face of the brand's monkey mascot can be seen when taking off the front of C-3PO's yellow mask and when lifting the top of R2-D2 off.
