Stella McCartney, a luxury fashion brand renowned for its sustainable practices, recently launched a new A-Z sustainability manifesto. The new initiative was done in collaboration with artists like Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons, and Ed Ruscha and seeks to make the brand even more sustainable with changes that range from A for accountable to Z for zero waste.
Moreover, the A-Z sustainability manifesto aims to tackle the "greenwashing" so prevalent in the fashion industry. "I barely even know what the word sustainable means any more.... it has to come from a place of honesty, because it’s not easy to work this way, and give the consumer honest information and be completely transparent. It can’t just be for marketing and because the youth of tomorrow will demand it," said the designer and found of the brand, Stella McCartney.
