The Viviane Restaurant at Avalon Hotel is a stunning eatery that transports guests straight to mid-century California. The casual environment is the host of breakfast, lunch and dinner and includes a pool and features iconic furniture of the time, such as modern-era chairs and settees by Carlo de Carli and brass and wood dining chairs by mid-century designer Dan Johnson.
The restoration led by designer Kelly Wearstler, the Beverly Hills restaurant appears like something out of a Mad Men episode where Don Draper escapes to California. Much of the exterior of the eatery is covered in color-blocked geometric frescoes and a variety of seating options offer different levels of relaxation, with the most covetable seeming to be the series of cabanas.
