Bentley's Continental GT V8 S Debuts in the 2014 Detroit Auto Show

In light of the 2015 North American International Auto Show, Bentley has debuted its newest Continental V8 Sport Model. The British luxury automaker has put a new twist with its newest V8 Sports vehicles on its popular Continental coupe and convertible line.

Fitted with a twin turbocharged V8 engine that is able to generate 389 kW / 528 PS at 6,000 rpm, the GT V8 can generate up to 680 Nm of torque at 1,700 RPM. From the standing to start time, the GT V8 reaches up to 60 miles per hour in under 4.3 seconds. In addition, four of the eight cylinders switch off at slower throttle openings, therefore reducing fuel consumption drastically.

The lowered sports suspension has increased spring and bush rates both front and back with uprated anti-roll bars that enhance agility, cornering and body control.
