Muscle lovers rejoice - the Chevy 427 is back. Corvette has announced that a hot new limited edition Vette will be rolling out this spring. The 427 Limited Edition Z06 will take car buffs back to the days of the Stingray of the mid-60s. This will be the most expensive Vette yet, priced at $84,195. Experts predict they will sell out--at a premium price.
Implications - The 427 Limited Edition Z06 is offered in a "a red metallic tintcoat paint" and can come with graphics that were offered with the older Corvette models of 1967 with a 427 engine. Each of the special cars are numbered and signed by Wil Cooksey, who is the Corvette assembly plant manager. The car will be a rare treat since only 427 will be offered in North America.
