These Augmented Reality Windows Would Act as an Entertainment Experience

As part of this year's SXSW festivities, Hyperloop debuted its new augmented reality windows. While the company has already made headlines for its futuristic transportation system, now it is upping the ante by adding augmented reality to the experience.

The augmented reality windows concept was debuted by Hyperloop Transportation Technologies CEO Dirk Alhborn during a talk at SXSW. The 'Augmented Windows' would allow users to view the world outside, as well as other visual information. This would be done through the use of head-tracking technology, which would manipulate each image based on where the user is looking. Such a system would allow the windows to function as an entertainment system and possible advertising platform.

Although the company has teased similar technology in the past, it seems that the Augmented Windows are indeed in the works.
