TIMIO is now being introduced on Kickstarter as an educational audio toy and music player with a simple design that allows kids to access interactive content by snapping on a magnetic disc. The screen-free educational toy helps a child to develop their vocabulary, as well as various audio and visual skills. With nursery rhymes, lullabies and fairy tales in five different languages, kids can use TIMIO to access a broad range of safe content for expanding their minds.
While the portable MP3 player forms the base of the system, up to 20 interactive content discs can be added or removed to activate content related to different subjects. The design of TIMIO requires no setup and is entirely kid-friendly, meaning that kids should be able to swap one disc for another without adult intervention.
