Ascent is announcing Recovery Water as an innovative water-based beverage that's designed to support athletes after a workout. The beverage combines high-quality protein—made from Ascent's proprietary native whey protein formulation process—with electrolytes to boost muscle recovery and hydration.

The Watermelon and Pineapple Coconut-flavored beverages share 20g of fast-digesting native whey protein and 2.5 grams of naturally occurring Leucine to kick-start muscle protein synthesis. The 100-calorie beverage is free from artificial ingredients, as well as gluten, soy and rBST/rBGH. As ingredient-conscious consumers are just as interested in what is not in their products, Ascent's newest release is Informed Choice Certified, meaning that it is tested by a third party for banned substances so consumers can feel confident about the clean protein drink.
