The Berlin-based artist Markus Georg has made a whole series of postcards with artistic versions of famous monuments and sightseeing attractions. In the gallery above, you can spot his versions of Stonehenge, the Eiffel Tower and the Matterhorn.

These powerful images are best viewed from a distance or while squinting your eyes. Marcus Georg also did a recreation of 9/11 using black bin liners and orange paint. Very inventive indeed.

Implications - These crafty cards would be the perfect present for art lovers or travel fiends alike. They will definitely bring some magic into the mailboxes of your friends and family.
