Artisan Gift Portals

100 Mile Gifts Features Items Made by Local Canadian Artisans

100 Mile Gifts is an online store, based in the province of Ontario in Canada, that elevates the business and practice of artisan gift-giving. The store features exclusive items made by artisans in the Greater Toronto Area and nearby communities including the Niagara, Waterloo Region, London and Hamilton regions. The store is the brainchild of sisters and entrepreneurs Carolyn Parks and Susie Broughton.

The store helps people in Ontario access hundreds of gorgeous handcrafted items made of wood, glass, clay, metal, fabric and other materials. Until now, the problem was that artisans had a difficult time selling their products due to the inherent challenges of competing with the big-box retail environment as well as massive online retailers.

However, 100 Mile Gifts is giving a significant boost to the artisan gift market, while enabling customers to give meaningful gifts that help support their local artisan communities.
