Art-inspired fashion has always been prominent on the runway it seems, however, unless one knows what they're looking for, it's not always easy to spot.
In order to make the ways in which this is done a little more clear, 'As a Muse,' a website and social account that's run by a French woman based in London named Hélène, highlights the pieces that the art-inspired fashion takes ques from. In doing so, she works to give further expose to the artists whose designs are creatively implemented into new mediums, as well as speak to the prevalence of this practice in the industry.
One example of this includes 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa,' which is shown as the backdrop to a model wearing a dress with its design.
