Artist Miya Ando x Saint Laurent bring conceptual art into the luxury retail space with 'Mono no aware,' a contemplative solo exhibition currently on view at Saint Laurent Rive Droite in Beverly Hills through May 28. Curated by Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello, the collaboration fuses Ando’s meditative, culturally nuanced artistic practice with the striking visual world of Saint Laurent, transforming the boutique into a space where fashion, art, and philosophy coalesce.

The exhibition explores Ando’s signature themes of impermanence, nature, and duality -- reflections of her bicultural upbringing between Japanese Buddhist temples and Northern California’s redwoods. Known for working with elemental materials such as indigo, wood, and silver, Ando's pieces invite viewers to pause, reflect, and embrace the ephemeral.

As part of the collaboration, Saint Laurent has released a limited-edition tote bag featuring Ando’s 'Frost Descends' silkscreen print of the galaxy, available online. The offering underscores the ongoing evolution of luxury retail as a site for cultural dialogue and sensory experience.
