Design studio Bright Potato created the ArNO Chair from wireframes, experimenting with expressive lines. The ArNO chair made its debut this year at Salone Satellite during Salone Del Mobile. The furniture piece plays with the way that lines travel, exploring the concept of movement. The idea that Bright Potato wanted to deliver was a sense of a light summer breeze. The reference of the ArNO chair looks to three specific elements: argon, nitrogen and oxygen.
These three referenced elements were specifically chosen because they are the three that make up the atmosphere of Earth -- the air that surrounds us. The piece infuses expressive line with negative space. Additionally, the chair can be stacked because of its lightweight and sturdy construction and is also suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings. The colorways available for the ArNO chair are black or red.
