A new architecture platform that is designed to encourage and enable the "emerging generation to take the lead" will be launched this summer in Europe. The project is supported by the European Union—more specifically, the Creative Europe cultural program—and is intended to support emerging designers and architects who are dedicated to providing solutions for the climate crisis. Organizations across 23 countries are involved in this project.
The innovative and thoughtful architecture platform is named LINA. It is coordinated by the architectural department at the University of Ljubljana and headed by architect Matevž Čelik. LINA pioneers concepts that are important for the future of our planet such as the circular economy, carbon neutrality, as well as the European Green Deal which is "a set of proposals by the European Commission aiming to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent."
