Swedish designer Love Hultèn brings a playfully inspired mixture of modern technology and artisanal craftsmanship with the Pixelkabinett 42 arcade cabinet.
This handmade wooden cabinet elegantly conceals a full sized classic arcade system, while adding various retro futuristic-inspired flourishes throughout. A glowing planetarium decorates the front of the arcade cabinet and the control board features a Saturn-shaped speaker with a traditional joystick and button gaming controls.
The unit also features a fold-down cabinet top that not only keeps dust away, but also turns the machine into a minimal piece of home decor when not in use.
Designed, crafted and assembled personally by Hultèn himself, these made-to-order arcade cabinets are limited to 50 editions and can also be fully customized with several add-ons available. Personalized color finishes, an optional built in sub-woofer, customized button layouts, and expanded game libraries are all available to order depending on the users tastes.
