The Antiform SS 2012 collection is a mash-up of sartorial structuring and streetwear. The result is a put-together look of slouchy pants, heels, sneakers and relaxed frocks. The curation is extremely spontaneous, playfully mixing patterns and hues. Memorable pieces from the line include leggings, a heavily pleated floral skirt and a series of kilt-like double folded skirts.
Antiform was formed by Lizzie Harrison in 2007, basing its manufacturing locally and focusing on ethical means of production. The company and team are specialists in textile up-cycling and reusable local fashion systems. As read on the website, "many of our products are 100% made in Yorkshire, right down to the trimmings." Beyond designing, Harrison also stands as a lecturer, commissioned designer, researcher and consultant.
The Antiform SS 2012 is a relaxed take on the skirted look.
