With its new-found popularity in the mainstream, Animal Crossing's updates can positively effect consumers.
A perfect example of this is the new fall update, which sees a celebration of the spookiest time of the year. Players will be able to grow pumpkins, and can even dress their avatars up in Halloween costumes. On October 31st, players will receive in-game rewards and special seasonal surprises.
