Andy Ellison Creates Stunning GIFS of Fruits and Vegetables

Andy Ellison works with a research-only MRI scanner at the BU medical school in Boston and he has been collecting an assortment of animated GIFs that feature the MRI scans of vegetables, fruits and other plants.

The results of this series were nothing short of mesmerizing. Ellison used fruits and vegetables like corn, star fruit, cucumbers, garlic and broccoli. He also used various plants like a small cactus and a flower scan of a Lily.

Ellison used magnetic resonance imaging to capture these high-definition, animated scans that you need to see in action to truly appreciate. It almost looks as thought the fruits and vegetables are growing or moving in slow motion with the ways in which Andy Ellison has portrayed them.
