Ceiling-Mounted Orb Speaker Concepts

André Terchanian Designs a Ceiling Spherical Speaker

André Terchanian designed a spherical speaker concept mounted onto the ceiling. It hangs above and combines elements of both sound and light in a sleek suspended format. The concept by André Terchanian challenges the expectations of speakers and how it works.

It integrates directly into interior design and immediately suggests an omnidirectional sound with audio coming from all sides instead of projecting only from a single direction. The light has four stylish drivers positioned around the orb and covered with more than typical mesh, it has warm wooden panels. The sound waves travel through the circular gaps that are nestled between the geometric body and raised wooden components so that audio reaches all corners of a room.
