As though straight out of a mythical story, Amy Judd's oil paintings are full of whimsy and mystery. Focusing mostly on faceless figures who are obscured by the feathered wings of birds, there is a beautiful commentary on man and nature in each work of art. Yet there is a level of detail in each of Amy Judd's paintings that could suck people in just as much as her surreal subject matters.
Hailing from Britain, Amy Judd essentially compares women to birds in a way that is left open to interpretation. While some will read into it on a psychological level, others will be attracted to Amy Judd's work in a purely aesthetic sense, possibly even in regards to beauty.
