At a time when meal kits, food deliveries and take-home meals are the main way that people are appreciating meals from their favorite businesses, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is reviving classic TV dinners with a retro-modern twist. There are six Americana TV Dinners in all and each one takes inspiration from a different frozen meal that was as convenient as it was popular in the 1950s.
Lazy Dog’s Americana TV Dinners are ideal for keeping the freezer stocked with easy-to-make meals. Some of the options available include Beer-Battered Fish N Chips, Campfire Pot Roast or Cheese Enchiladas, most of which feature some sort of house-made sauce or gravy. The Fried Chicken TV dinner, for example, boasts house-made country gravy, red skin mashed potatoes with sautéed baby spinach and bacon and Geechie Boy Mill blue corn cake.
