The Ryzen 5 8600G is one of the upcoming desktop APUs from AMD, based on the 4 nm "Phoenix" monolithic silicon. It features 6 "Zen 4" CPU cores and a Radeon 760M iGPU with 8 compute units, based on the RDNA 3 architecture. The APU can run at a base frequency of 4.35 GHz and a boost frequency of 5.00 GHz for the CPU, and 2.60 GHz for the GPU. The Ryzen 5 8600G is expected to offer impressive performance in both CPU and GPU tasks, as shown by the leaked benchmarks on Geekbench 6.
The Ryzen 5 8600G will be compatible with the Socket AM5 platform, which will support the DDR5 memory standard and the PCIe 5.0 interface.
