Amazon StyleSnap Uses AI to Streamline the Shopping Process

Amazon StyleSnap is a new feature that will make it easier for users to shop for clothing. It works by allowing users to select outfits from pictures, then the StyleSnap uses its AI to place that item in their Amazon cart. StyleSnap functions can be accessed through a corner of the Alexa app, for users to take pictures of different clothing items. The StyleSnap app was announced at the company's MARS conference. Currently, it is not stated when Amazon StyleSnap will be released.

Amazon is launching the StyleSnap in order to grow its Influencer Program, which allows people to make money from recommending Amazon items. The program launched in April 2017 and pays its influencers commission based on sales.
