Uber Offers Riders Free Entertainment with Amazon Shows on Tablets

Uber is hoping to make the time spent in its vehicles that much more enjoyable for riders with free tablets that consumers can use to stream Amazon shows during their commute. The promotion is exclusive to Los Angeles riders and is offered to riders using the UberLux service. Each car will contain a Kindle Fire HD tablet that has been pre-uploaded with popular television series such as Bosch and Transparent as well as movies.

The promotional service adds an air of luxury to the riding experience, giving consumers something to do while they move from place to place. While a rider might not be inside an UberLux long enough to finish an episode of show, often times Los Angeles is bogged down with traffic -- extending the driving time.
