The Amazon Music Streaming Service might seem to be taking on an already oversaturated market with Spotify, Apple Music and even Tidal, yet there is potential for the e-commerce company to make its mark in the evolving industry. It will ride off of the recent success of its voice-control speaker, Echo, by creating an essentially closed system to stream music off of.
Although some might think that counterintuitive considering the path technology is taking these days, by adopting a more familial system, the devices and services aim to work better. The Amazon Music Streaming Service is currently still in the process of rolling out, but subscriptions may be available as early as late summer or early fall. That's exciting news for the company.
