First-place winner of the 2012 Carbon Fiber Design Contest, the Aliante bookshelf by Davide Anzalone is a beautiful piece of contemporary furniture. The design for the "low air-resistance" bookshelf comes from aeronautical architecture. Due to the carbon fibers strength and lightness, the piece is able to appear delicate while supporting a fairly heavy load.
Appropriate urbanite-inspired interior decor, the Aliante bookshelf's minimalist design also makes it a very adaptable piece for most living rooms an office spaces. Because of the thin frame and unimposing composition, the bookshelf takes on a different attraction based on the books that populate its shelves.
Whether it's laden with law textbooks, teen fiction or an assortment of recipe books and picture albums, the Aliante bookshelf is a reliable addition to your interior composition.
