The Alfie BOXX camera is a handcrafted wooden camera that brings back the old-fashioned spirit of 19th century photography and pairs it with the advanced technologies of the modern era. The camera was developed by product designer Dave Faulkner and consists of a wooden design paired with brass components to further drive home the vintage look and feel. The camera can be used with three types of lenses including the Wollaston, Steinheil Periscope and the Pinhole, which will each achieve a number of decidedly old-fashioned effects.
The Alfie BOXX camera will also accommodate the developing of images right inside the unit thanks to the Pocket Darkroom. This will fit onto the rear where users can follow a four-step process to create positives without the need for a darkroom.
