Alexander Anne Mackenzie is a 32-year-old artist and illustrator from Ann Arbor, Michigan, whose unique artistic aesthetic has established her as a creative to watch in her adopted hometown of San Francisco, California.
Alexander Anne Mackenzie's highly technical work is the result of high-level training. She earned a BFA from Tufts University and then an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Her artwork has been featured in galleries around the world, including the WAS Gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark, the KRETS Gallery in Malmo, Sweden, and the Guerrero Gallery in San Francisco. Her work blends elements of surrealism, typography, and cartoon imagery to create an aesthetic specific to her.
