The Ajinomoto Dumpling Lineup Debuted Two New Options

— May 23, 2026 — Marketing
The Ajinomoto dumpling lineup has been expanded by Ajinomoto Foods North America in response to changing consumer habits surrounding flavor and international cuisine. The product range now features the Sweet & Spicy Chili Saucy Pork and Chicken Gyoza alongside the Jumbo Chicken Shumai, which are rolling out at Albertsons and Ahold now in the US with additional retailers to follow this summer. The products tap into the popularity of sweet and spicy (AKA swicy) flavor experiences as well as the embrace of global cuisine varieties amongst shoppers looking to elevate mealtime without having to head to a restaurant.

President and CEO of Ajinomoto Foods North America Dave Gardner commented on the new additions to the Ajinomoto dumpling lineup saying, "Following the strong response to our US launch of Hane-Style Gyoza, we are expanding the line with two new offerings that deliver new eating experiences aligned with consumer preference. One brings a bolder flavor profile, and the other offers a more convenient take on a classic favorite. Together, they reflect our focus on giving consumers high-quality, quick-cooking options with authentic flavor and continuing to build the category in a thoughtful way."
