Taste perception changes at high altitudes, leading Air France and Matthias Giroud—celebrated partnered with chef-mixologist—to develop a collection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails to enhance inflight experiences and delight La Première customers.
In all, there are three exclusive signature cocktails to savor—one with alcohol, one low-alcohol and an alcohol-free version. The bitter, zesty Belle Époque puts a refreshing spin on the Negroni with orange hydrosol. Parfum de France, the low-alcohol option, is sweet, fruity, and pays homage to France's world-class wines. A far cry from alcohol-free cocktails that fall flat, L’Éveil defies expectation as a spicy, tangy recipe prepared with cranberry juice infused with mint, lime juice, an aromatic leaf bouquet and ginger.
All three cocktails, exclusively served in the La Première cabin, were inspired by Air France’s core values: elegance, pleasure and respect.
