Subaru’s 2027 Forester lineup returns, with pricing starting at $29,995 for the gas model and $34,730 for the Forester Hybrid. The lineup now includes the 2027 Forester Wilderness Hybrid, the first Subaru Wilderness model to pair off-road equipment with a hybrid powertrain. It starts at $40,495.
The gas Forester is available in Base, Premium, Wilderness, and Limited trims, while the hybrid range includes Premium, Sport, Wilderness, Limited, and Touring variants. Every model has at least 8.7 inches of ground clearance, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, EyeSight driver-assistance technology, and a Lineartronic CVT. Most models receive an 11.6-inch touchscreen, while the gas Wilderness and all hybrid trims include a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.
For shoppers balancing commuting with dirt-road driving, the Wilderness Hybrid offers 9.3 inches of ground clearance, dual-mode X-MODE, and Yokohama GEOLANDAR all-terrain tires. Subaru says it delivers better fuel economy than the gas-only Wilderness without compromising all-wheel-drive capability.
