This web tool is designed to help low-income high school students find affordable college and post-secondary education. ScholarMatcher is a searchable database and important resource for young people coming from households that earn less than $50,000 a year. While some might associate lower cost with lower quality, the free platform only lists high quality and financially viable schools.

ScholarMatcher currently has 296 affordable college establishments in their database for prospective students to be matched up with. From ScholarMath -- a non-profit organization that enables donors to help struggling students with monetary support -- the tool aggregates data on affordability factors including academic quality, student support, financial aid and post-graduate success rates.

Though university can be very expensive, this model could also be applied to other industries.
