The Aesop Toronto Boutique is an Understated Retail Heaven

The first Canadian outpost from the cult Australian beauty brand, the Aesop Toronto boutique is a pristine retail experience designed by local firm superkul. With playful references to Canada's history of fur trading and textile manufacturing, the shop takes on an identity that is uniquely local as well as true to the brand.

Located in the city's hip Queen West neighborhood, the luxury skincare boutique features felt crafted by local artist Kathryn Walter that was added as an allusion to the countries 17th-century commercial roots. The grey felt is complemented by blackened steel that reflects the spaces former look.

Designed as a "sensory journey," the recently opened Aesop Toronto boutique is the first of three Canadian boutiques launching in 2015, with the other two being planned for Montreal and Vancouver.
