Japanese-Inspired Onyx Sneakers

The adidas NMDs Now Include a Sleek All-Black Colorway

Adidas Originals is set to release an all-black colorway of its adidas NMD R1 model. The release follows that of the black and white version that dropped some time ago that featured a white sole and various lighter accents throughout.

The new colorway, dubbed 'Japan Black Boost,' gives the sneakers a new edge by changing the upper to be stripped with black and white as well as translating the iconic brand name to be written in Japanese. On the new adidas NMD R1, the company is sure to include its English name as well to make sure that envious onlookers know exactly where they can pick up their own pair. The iconic brand symbol along with the name appears on the heel of the shoes, with the inclusion of both English and Japanese versions speaking to the company's global recognition.
