Landor & Fitch Designs the Accessories Handles

Landor & Fitch unveiled a new collection of toothbrush add-ons that are adaptive for users dubbed the Accessories handles. It is made for those who have issues with dexterity with the chunky grips at the bottom which curve upwards. The grips are made with unique textures with grips, ridges, and spines as the main design structure of the entire collection.
Additionally, these are 3D-printed for different customers and they can be attached to regular toothbrushes to create a large and more sturdy grip. Industrial design lead Jack Halloway states, “Whilst researching accessible design, we came across users hacking toothbrushes in functional but extremely uncomfortable ways. This was by attaching toothbrushes to hands via elastic bands, using dog toys, lollipop sticks, and wet cloths. After seeing this, we realized there was a real problem that we as a creative team thought we could solve.”
