Aldi is adding two Crofton cast-iron pieces to its Aldi Finds section on Sept. 16, featuring an oval roaster and a smaller Dutch oven from the retailer’s in-house cookware line. The release positions the pieces as lower-cost alternatives to premium enameled cast-iron cookware while retaining the familiar covered Dutch oven format.
Both pieces will be available in cream and dark forest green. The oval roaster includes a lid and is priced at $29.99, while the smaller Dutch oven measures 18 centimeters, or about 7 inches, and is priced at $19.99. Aldi has not listed dimensions for the new roaster, though previous Crofton versions measured about a foot across with a 5-quart capacity.
For consumers, the pair offers a more accessible way to add enameled cast-iron cookware to the kitchen, particularly for budget-minded shoppers and smaller households. Previous Crofton cookware has carried a two-year warranty, while past customer feedback has highlighted its heavier construction and solid everyday performance.
