Visoid raised €2.16 million to expand its AI visualization platform for architects, which transforms existing 3D models into high-quality visuals within minutes while preserving the original design intent. The funding round was led by Skyfall Ventures, with participation from StartupLab, OBOS, Antler, Farvatn and byFounders Angel Collective.
Founded in 2023 by Mark Szoke and Joachim Holwech, Visoid is designed to fit into professional architectural workflows and reduce reliance on traditional rendering processes. The platform has gained users including OMA, LEO A DALY, Sweco Group and Nordic Office of Architecture. Visoid plans to use the funding to grow its engineering, product and commercial teams while developing additional AI capabilities.
For architects, the platform can support faster iteration, clearer communication and more efficient design decisions. The funding reflects growing demand for specialized AI tools built around professional creative workflows.

Key Themes Behind This Trend
- AI Design Visualization
- Specialized AI rendering platforms are compressing visualization timelines from hours to minutes, creating room for faster concept testing and more dynamic client-facing design communication.
- Workflow-native AI Tools
- Professional software that embeds AI into existing creative processes can reduce adoption friction while preserving the technical standards and intent required by expert users.
- Automated Creative Iteration
- Rapid generation of high-quality visual alternatives is reshaping how architects evaluate options, compare design directions and refine projects before committing production resources.
Where This Applies
- Architecture
- AI visualization systems are enabling firms to accelerate presentations, improve stakeholder alignment and reduce dependence on traditional rendering bottlenecks.
- Construction Technology
- Enhanced visual outputs from design models can bridge gaps between planning, approval and execution, supporting more efficient collaboration across built-environment teams.
- Creative Software
- Purpose-built AI platforms for professional users are opening new competitive space beyond generic generative tools by aligning automation with specialized workflow requirements.
