Delicate Metal Mesh Decor

Alley-Oop Exhibits Basket-Inspired 3D Geometric Design

A collaborative effort between furniture designer Eric Trine and graphic artist Will Bryant, the Alley-Oop exhibit showcased at Poketo brings fun 3D geometric design to home decor.

All of the pieces have a delicate basket-like design, with woven and cutout metal that abstractly resembles a basketball net, ready to catch a slam dunk. As the artists explain, the collection is made with "a wide variation of media and dimensions, with the express purpose of brightening and lightening the lives of every day people." The bright colors and airy shapes do just that, adding interesting and unusual accents of geometric shapes to a room, while the sturdy frames make each piece very functional and useful.

The 3D geometric design aesthetic of the Alley-Oop collection brings a playfulness to everyday home decor.
