The 25 Dresses for 25 Cities video grants viewers a behind the scenes look at the intricacy and patience it takes to create a wearable origami dress. And yet the time-laspe film doesn't just show people how extensively complex the creation of Tyvek skirt is. It also shows the detail that is revealed in its motion. Towards the end of the video, a model dons three versions of the dress and interacts with it in a mesmerizing way.
Created by Jule Waibel, a recent German RCA graduate based in London and Stuttgart, the 25 Dresses for 25 Cities video gives new insight and level of appreciation to such a project. This particular dress was created for a shop window exhibition at 25 Bershka flagship stores.
