Modular Mobile Living Spaces

2,5³ by Chmara.Rosinkes is Minimalist and Nomadic

For those who have always wanted to live the life of a gypsy with wagon and all, the 2,5³ by Chmara.Rosinkes, a design studio made up of Maciej Chmara and Ania Rosinke, can be likened to a modern version of it. 2,5³ by Chmara.Rosinkes is a modular mobile living situation that provides all the necessary comforts of home without actually tying a person down to one specific place for an extended period of time.

Taking on the shape of a cube, the design of the 2,5³ by Chmara.Rosinkes pays tribute to the '60s and '70s, two decades in which designers "tried to introduce the idea of modular structures into current aesthetics canons," according to Trendland. Overall, the structure embodies the designers' inspiration: "Behavior of people depending on culture and everyday objects in hardware stores and prefabricated industrialized materials."
