Louise Harris Throws a £20,000 Dog Wedding for Her Precious Pooch Lola

The world has become a crazy place to live in -- so crazy, in fact, that the news of a £20,000 dog wedding will probably not even make people bat their eyelashes in surprise. Of course, you would have to wonder at just how crazy a lifestyle those people lead if the $32,000 USD equivalent doesn't shock you.

Put together by the bride's owner, Louise Harris, the £20,000 dog wedding was a lavish event thrown in Bradwell-on-Sea in Essex, England. Her 6-year-old Yorkshire terrier, Lola, was gowned in a £1,000 specially designed wedding dress decorated with Swarovski crystals.

Lola met her Prince Charming through an online competition that Harris set up on her DivaDogs website and Facebook page. The £20,000 dog wedding included husband Mugly, a pooch previously voted Britain's ugliest, who is owned by mom-of-four Bev Nicholson.
